Hygiene Operative

Reporting to: Accounts Department
Based: Maryport, Cumbria.
Department: Hygiene
Salary: £5.70 per hour, £8.55 per hour on Saturday and Sunday

Hours of work: 9.30pm to 5.30am Monday to Thursday, Friday 8pm to 4am and alternate weekends working from approximately 1pm until finish.

Although the Company operates a production planning/forecasting system, start and finish times can change on a daily basis due to customer demand, product promotions. Candidates should be flexible regarding ours worked.

Outline job: Working as part of the Hygiene team responsible for cleaning equipment, machinery and areas within the food production environment.

Candidates must possess good team-working skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adhere to strict hygiene and quality standards.

Previous experience of industrial cleaning would be an advantage, although not essential, as full training will be given. The successful candidate will be provided with COSHH training.
