Food Manufacture Award
On the back of the Pride of Cumbria Award, we were voted the “Seafood Company of the Year” at the Food Manufacture Excellence Award.
The award was judged by a number of industry exports who were looking for consistent, all round excellence in food and manufacturing. Entries were judged on the following areas:
- Supply chain improvement;
- Quality assurance and food safety;
- Process innovation;
- Environmental management;
- Human resource development; and,
- New product development
As well as all of the above, companies were required to demonstrate achievement over the last twelve months in at least three of the six areas above.
Food Marketing and Manufacturing Award
In January, Morrisons Best Fresh Cod Loin was voted the best-chilled product at the “Food Marketing and Manufacturing Award.” This award comes as a pleasant surprise as it was judged by a panel of readers making the award more prestigious.
